As the preceding headline page notes, our 2009 trip is to leave the USA on July 6 and return from Istanbul, Turkey on July 22. The cruise proper will be from Kiev in the Ukraine to Nessebar, Bulgaria. Early discount prices—for sign-up by September 30—start at $2,299 per person double occupancy plus taxes and various charges. Most of the details are now posted. Airline pricing is not yet available. Those wishing to make reservations may now do so.
The 2008 trip is now well under way so we are paring the section down to the preview pictures and the Itinerary. We will be adding pictures from the trip somewhere between mid- and late-July.
We are starting to experiment to respond to the latest trend to larger screen sizes. At present, roughly half of our visitors have 1024x768 and smaller screens and roughly half have larger screens. The Itinerary page now posted attempts to take full advantage of the 1024x768 screens. We are expecting sufficient pictures to enable a version for larger screens somewhere between the middle of July and the beginning of August.
